BIBAK Suomi is an NGO dedicated to preserving and promoting Igorot and Cordilleran culture in Finland. We support immigrants, organize cultural events, and foster unity within the Filipino community, especially among nurses working in Finland.

About Us
What is BIBAK Suomi?
The organization is called BIBAK Suomi Ry. The abbreviation BIBAK represents the provinces of Benguet, Ifugao, Bontoc, Apayao, and Kalinga. This name was chosen because it resonates with many Igorots and Cordillerans, both in the Philippines and abroad, despite being somewhat archaic.
Today, the Cordillera Administrative Region (CAR) of the Philippines comprises Abra, Apayao, Baguio, Benguet, Ifugao, Kalinga, and Mountain Province. Most members of BIBAK Suomi have a deep ancestral and cultural connection to these provinces.
Our mission is to preserve and promote the Igorot culture while supporting the integration of Cordilleran immigrants into Finnish society.
